Homework and Announcements
Homework is assigned weekly and to be completed by the communicated due date and will factor into the work habits grade on the progress report and report card.

In Science we discuss "What is Matter? and The three states of Matter"

Math- "Teach and Share Dividing" due Thursday 10/17. Division Practice Sheet A due Thursday 10/17.
Science- Ecology Test on Friday, students received an Ecosystem Outline to start filling out. This is a study tool that students may use during the test. Students are encourage to use their notes as well as other resources posted on Discovery Ed. or on my web-page to find all necessary information.

Math- Students can start working on Moby Max Math. I have assigned a lesson on Multi-Digit Multiplication for students to begin.
Science- Discuss the different types of Aquatic Biomes
Friday is Roar and Run. Students will run during recess (12:35-1:105). Students will get ice cream after their run, but need to their own water bottles.

Science- McNamara- Discuss the Tundra Biome. Simpson- We did not get a chance to discuss biomes due to the cultural arts assembly, we will catch up Wednesday.

Math- "Gridded Multiplication Practice sheets" due Thursday 9/12. These sheets were originally handed out on 8/30 and the students have been working on them in class and during study hall time. Students may use multiplication chart to help and a calculator to check answers, but they must show all work.
- Sometime this week watch a "Standard Algorithm of Multiplication video" they are found on the Math Resource Page of this website.

Math- Teach and Share Multiplication due Friday 9/6, Multiplication Quiz on Friday
You can discuss and look over your Math Fantasy Football Draft if you want to. Students do not have to watch any football for this project. We will look at the game stats each Tuesday then complete calculations to find point totals to see the winners.
Science- I was planning on teaching the science of hurricanes today since it is very relevant, but our draft took too long and I was unable. I am hoping we can learn out hurricanes a bit before the week is over.
